We collect information you provide directly:

• Email address (when you subscribe to the newsletter)
• Comments you submit on articles (name, content)
• Contact form submissions (name, email, message)
• Analytics data: pages visited, articles read, approximate geographic region — collected anonymously via Firebase/Google Analytics.

We do NOT collect passwords, payment information, or sensitive personal data.

• To analyze site traffic and improve content
• To detect and prevent spam/abuse

When you subscribe, your email is stored securely in Firebase Firestore.

• We send article updates, new posts, and occasional newsletters
• We never sell or share your email with third parties
• You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email
• Subscriptions are managed via EmailJS — your email is processed according to EmailJS's privacy policy

We use minimal cookies:

• Analytics cookies (anonymous) to understand site traffic
• Session cookies to manage newsletter vote tracking and admin sessions
• No advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, hosting
• EmailJS — newsletter delivery
• Google Analytics — site traffic analytics
• ImgBB — optional image uploads

Each service's privacy policy applies when you interact with their features.

All data is stored in Firebase Firestore with security rules that restrict unauthorized access. Admin access requires authenticated credentials. Newsletter vote tracking uses session storage only — no personal data is stored.

You have the right to:

• Request deletion of your email from our subscriber list
• Request deletion of comments you submitted
• Opt out of analytics tracking (use browser privacy extensions)

ShrayanaTech is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
